COSTA RICA YOGA AND MEDITATION RETREAT
Retreats offer us a chance to step away from the busyness of daily life in order to turn inward, reflect, renew, and deepen our practice; in so doing, we remember our connection to all beings, everywhere—and we cultivate compassion.
In remembering that connection, we may be inspired to work for positive change in the world. Join Jennifer Lenhart, CYT/E-RYT, for a week-long retreat focusing on the interdependent nature of all beings and on softening our hearts and cultivating compassion.
National Geographic calls Costa Rica “the most biologically intense place on earth”. What better place to look deeply at nature and our place in it, to look deeply at ourselves, and to consider what Thich Nhat Hanh calls “interbeing”? Our home for the week will be a beautiful eco-lodge on the Pacific Coast.
Through yoga asana classes, silent meditation, guided meditation, and discussion/talks, we’ll explore our theme for the week: “Lokah Samastah Sukinoh Bhavantu” or “May All Beings Be Happy and Free.”
Those new to yoga and meditation are welcome, as are seasoned practitioners.
