September is independence month in Costa Rica.

   The 15th of September we celebrate the independence of Costa Rica from Spain. As a free and democratic country we celebrate it in peace and focusing in our children and youth. They parade all over the country in the traditional Independence Day parade. We do not have an army or military, so our focus has always been the education of our future… our children.
