For the Beach/Ocean: -Sandals (Tevas or closed sandals) -Sun Block (Not Suntan lotions, 35proof and above -Swim Suits (Make sure you pack a few of them) -Beach towels (we do not provide beach towels) -Hat or cap For the forest: -Hiking shoes -Mosquitoes/insect repellent (natural repellents are better) -Rain coat (after all we are in the Rain Forest) -Flash lights w/ extra batteries (essential) when possible, please pack only Panasonic batteries, as these are the only brand of batteries that can be recycled in Costa Rica. -Shorts/pants that are for hot-weather. In General: -Camera (with extra film if it is not digital) -Reading light (as our alternative power fluctuates a lot) -Plenty of clothes (because of rain & walks) Lightweight, casual clothing appropriate for hiking. Our dress code at the property is completely informal, so do not worry about bringing dinner jackets or formal apparel. -Advise us of special diets ahead of time! -If you have special needs, please advice -If you love birds; please do not forget your binoculars  |
